PRIVACY POLICY
FOR APPLICANTS (RECRUITING)

This privacy statement informs you about how your personal data is processed when you apply for a job advertised and/or promoted by us.
It also describes your data protection rights, including the right to object to some of the Processing carried out by Work Zermatt.
For more information about your rights and how you can exercise them, please see the section called "Your rights".
This Privacy Policy applies in addition to our existing T&Cs.

1.
RESPONSIBLE PARTY

The person responsible for the processing of personal data and holder of the
data collection according to Art. 14 (2) lit. a DSG is: Work Zermatt, Untere
Mattenstrasse 48, 3920 Zermatt, Switzerland, (see our impressum).

2.
DATA COLLECTION
In the course of the selection process we collect and process the following
categories of personal data:
Contact details in your candidate profile (e.g. first and last name, country, e-mail, telephone number).
Details from the application form (including e.g. salary requirements, your motivation)
Application documents (e.g. curriculum vitae, cover letter, career development data, qualifications and language skills).
Results of online procedures (e.g. personality tests, cognitive achievement, cognitive performance tests, other psychometric procedures) and, if applicable, video interviews.
Video interviews, if applicable.
References that you make available to us.
Evaluation results of cognitive performance tests using relevant reference groups, taking into account your profession and
your level of experience.
We obtain the above data about you from other sources as appropriate,
including external business partners, e.g. recruitment agencies. We may also receive data that you share on professionally-oriented social networks, such as LinkedIn, or that you provide to us through third party websites, such as Monster Job Board, or from other publicly available sources (only if the data is if the data is relevant to your professional life).
The purpose is to contact you about job offers or to check the accuracy of the informationsupplied on application documents.

NATURE AND PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data will be processed exclusively for the following purposes
processed:
Initiation and establishment of the employment relationship
To contact you in the event that you are considered for an alternative position.
If you have given us your consent, to ask you about your satisfaction with the application process.
Contact you about your unsolicited application.
To provide you with personalised information about vacancies at Work Zermatt in accordance with your consent.

4.
LEGAL BASIS
We collect and process your personal data in compliance with the applicable legal provisions in electronic and/or physical form in order to be able to offer advertised positions and to and to carry out the selection procedure. For certain positions positions, this includes your participation in an online cognitive test or personality test. The provision of your
personal data as part of the application process is voluntary.

However, the provision of personal data is essential for the processing of your application or the conclusion of an employment contract with us.
The legal basis for the personality test is your consent. Participation in the personality test is voluntary.
If we obtain information from your public profile on professional
social networking sites, we base the processing on our legitimate interest in forming a basis for establishing an employment relationship with you.
We base processing on your consent when, for example, we ask you about your satisfaction with the application process.
Furthermore we may process personal data about you insofar as this is necessary for the defence of asserted legal claims against us arising from the application process. Our legitimate interest is, for example, a duty of proof in proceedings in accordance with the prohibition of discrimination.


5.
RECIPIENT OF THE DATA
We may transfer your personal data to companies associated with us
to the extent that this is permissible within the framework of the purposes and legal bases set out above.
For the data processing in our online application for job applications
Work Zermatt has jointly determined the purposes and means of data processing. Therefore, the companies are jointly responsible for the
processing of personal data. The main points of the agreement are that Work Zermatt, is primarily responsible for the fulfilment of
information obligations under data protection law as well as the provision of
information about the joint processing. You can control the visibility of your candidate profile by choosing whether your profile is only visible to the team responsible for your current application, or for the entire HR team within Work Zermatt. You can also request the deletion of your profile, as described in the section "Retention period".

Furthermore, personal data may be processed on our behalf on the basis of contracts in accordance with Art. 10a (1) DSG.
in particular by providers of systems for applicant management and
applicant selection procedures. There is no transfer of personal data to third parties if it is not related to the applicant management and applicant selection procedure or in addition to the Section "Nature and purposes of the processing of personal data".described in the section "Nature and purposes of the processing of personal data".
In the case transfers may involve a transfer of personal data to recipients abroad. With these external service providers, unless they are domiciled in a country with adequate data protection legislation pursuant to Art. 7 DPA.
standard contractual clauses have been concluded with these external service providers.

We reserve the right, in the event of a legal obligation the disclose of information about you if the disclosure is required by lawful authorities or law enforcement agencies require us to disclose information about you.

YOUR RIGHTS
6.1
RIGHT TO INFORMATION
You have the right to be informed about your personal data stored in our company. Please contact the the above-mentioned person in charge.or email us at info@workzermatt.ch

6.2
RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION OR DELETION
You can correct your personal data by sending an e-mail to info@workzermatt.ch
You may also, under certain conditions, request the deletion of your data.


6.3
RIGHT TO RESTRICT PROCESSING
Under certain conditions, you can request the restriction of the
processing of your data, e.g. if the accuracy of your data is disputed and should be checked by us.


6.4
RIGHT TO OBJECT TO PROCESSING
You may object to the processing of your data on the basis of our
legitimate interests. Further information can be foundunder the section "Objecting to or withdrawing or revocation of your consent to the processing of your data".
Furthermore, in addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.


7.
RETENTION PERIOD
We store your personal data for a period of 6 months after the last contact. This is necessary for the obligation to provide evidence in proceedings under the prohibition of discrimination.
Furthermore, we store your data for this duration, in case of an
alternative job advertisement for which you are a suitable candidate. In addition, you can request the deletion of your candidate profile or request the withdrawal of your application, by contacting us at info@workzermatt.ch.
If your application is successful, we will retain your personal
data for the duration of your employment in accordance with the Employee Privacy Notice which we will provide to you on acceptance of employment.


8.
OBJECTION OR REVOCATION OF YOUR CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA

If you have given your consent to the processing of your data
(e.g. if you are taking part in a survey on your satisfaction with the application process), you can withdraw your consent at any time. Such a revocation will affect the permissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have expressed it to us.


As far as we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case if the processing
in particular is not necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you, which is explained by us in the chapter "Nature and purposes of the processing of personal data".
When exercising such an objection, we ask you toclarify the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of your objection we will review the facts and will either discontinue or adjust the data processing or provide you with our legitimate grounds for continuing the processing.
